A two-way conversation between candidates. Candidates are given instructions with written and visual stimuli used in a decision-making task.
In this part of the test, you and your partner will be askedtalk togetherr. The interlocutor puts aset pictureson the table in front of you. It can only exista picturein a setor even sevenPictures. This stimulus provides a basis for discussion. The interlocutor first asks a questionpreliminary questionwhich focuses on two images (or in the case of one image, on aspects of the image).

What is the structure of C2 Proficiency speaking? ›
The C2 Proficiency Speaking test has three parts and you take it together with another candidate. There are two examiners. One of the examiners (the interlocutor) conducts the test and the other examiner (the assessor) listens to what you say and takes notes.
How do I prepare for C2 Proficiency? ›Read widely and often. If you read widely and often it enables you to acquire knowledge of aspects of English such as collocations, idioms, phrasal verbs and linkers, and get a feel for the syntax of written English. About the Cambridge English: Proficiency Speaking test
